One of the most-watched series of Netflix original Sci-fi show Stranger Things has left quite a few pages unturned of book and went a few part story still covered so we can expect a 4th installment of the series.
Have Netflix renewed Stranger Things for a 4th season?
No, Netflix hasn’t made an official announcement on the show renewal, Netflix typically waits to see how well each show lands before announcing a renovation, so there are many expectations that we can have an announcement for the renewal in the coming week.
When the Duffer brothers were asked about the 4th installment of the show, they said there are few plans for the season 4, in an interview, they said they are going to end the series with the 4th season.
But after the interview producer Shawn Levy said that after seeing the enthusiasm from Netflix and it’s child star we may have one more season to go after the 4th season.
“The truth is we’re going four seasons, and there’s very much the possibility of a fifth,” Levy said. “Beyond that, it becomes, I think very unlikely.”
When will Stranger Things be released?
If we look at the schedule of the season release, we can expect that the 4th installment can drop in the late 2020 and early 2021. As season 2 was released 15 months after the release of season 1 and season 3 was released 20 months after the season 2 release.
In the finale of Stranger Things 3, there was a reference to the Byers and the Wheelers spending Christmas together, and the previous two seasons have revolved around holidays (Halloween and Independence Day in the USA).
Who will be there in the cast for season 4?
There were a few casualties in the last episode of season 3. Billy (Dacre Montgomery) is indeed saddened and is unlikely to return unless as part of a cameo, a la Sean Astin’s Bob.
But there are question marks beside David Harbour’s name. But we can expect the main cast to come back in the 4th installment.
