Braun opens up and puts an end to all the drama and speculations. Taylor Swift accused Braun earlier this month of stopping her from performing her old hits at the 2019 American awards. Big machine withheld her allegations. The singer took to her Instagram account to let the word out. She reckons that her openness could change the awareness level of some artists “I just want to perform MY music that’s it,” she added, which isn’t too much to ask.
Although recently Scooter Braun retaliated to all this drama by saying, “I think we live in a time of toxic division, and of people thinking that social media is the appropriate place to air out on each other and not have conversations. And I don’t like politicians doing it. I don’t like anybody doing it,” “If that means that I’ve got to be the bad guy longer, I’ll be the bad guy longer, but I’m not going to participate.” Braun has been very silent in the issue. Not only that, but Braun also said that he would also prefer to have a “closed-door” discussion with Swift, as he believes a large part of this feud stems from “miscommunications” — something he’d rather not speak on publicly as it would just “add to the narrative.”
Taylor condemned Scooter of bullying her after he acquired the rights to her first six albums, meaning that a significant portion of their profits will go to him. The “love story” singer took to her Instagram account to convey, “All I could think about was the incessant, manipulative bullying I’ve received at his hands for years.” Scooter currently works with Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, among numerous other entertainers.
Taylor Swift has had feuds with Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Demi Lovato, lady gaga, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Calvin Harris, Camilla Belle, Joe Jonas, John Mayer, Niki Minaj, Lorde and the list goes on (sorry I’ve got a word limit) It turns out Taylor Swift isn’t outstanding in making friends.
