Marion Suge Knight had been sentenced to 28 years in prison last year for a fatal hit and run accident that happened in 2015, killing Terry Carter and injuring Cle Sloan. It was voluntary manslaughter where Knight was involved in a fistfight with Cle Sloan, which ended up with him running his truck over Sloan and Terry Carter.
Reportedly, Ray J, Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband had been seen visiting Trump’s administration to get his old friend Marion Suge Knight out of prison. It was also rumored that he was trying to follow Kim Kardashian’s footsteps as she had been involved in activities related to improving the lives of the prison inmates and helping ex-inmates in getting employment. But the below Instagram post from Ray J expressing anger and disappointment to Daily Mail, tells us the opposite.
Ray J writes tagging Daily Mail, “pls stop reporting false stories about me! This is the second time all of you trying to pull a stunt like this! The story you put up is false and corny! I’ve been working very hard building my companies and staying out of BS! If you wanna post a story about me pls make sure it’s true.”
He also posted a video in which he completely clears the air about him, making efforts to get his friend released. Along with that, he also published his progress in his businesses.

According to all previous news reports, Suge Knight had handed over his life rights to Ray J, but he also clarified this saying that these rights lie with Knight’s wife. He only owns the rights to “Death Row Records.”
In a 2011 interview, Ray J had stated that although he had been a gang member in the past, he had shifted his focus to his career in music and the film industry. He is now involved in businesses with Electric vehicles under the name Loop E-Scooters and Scoot-E Bike.
