John Scot Barrowman was born on 11 march of 1967 and is a British American Actor, presenter, author, comic book writer, and singer. He was born in Glasgow, Barrowman moved to the U.S. along with his family in 1975. He was mostly Encouraged by his High School Teacher to study arts at the United States International University in San Diego. After His Debut, he has played lead roles in various musicals both in the Broadway and the West End.
John Barrowman has apologized to fans after having to cancel performances this weekend due to what he said is a “severe neck injury.” In a lengthy post on Instagram, the Doctor Who and Torchwood star announced fans he had been “rushed to the hospital for a diagnosis.”
He described: “I’m devastated to have to tell you that due to a severe neck injury, which has made it improbable for me to sing & move, I’ve been rushed to the hospital for a diagnosis. “The Doctors have advised me not to perform this weekend while I try and recover, so I’ve had to make the hard decision to cancel my performance at the Bristol Hippodrome on Saturday 30th Nov and at the SEC Armadillo, Glasgow, on Sunday 1st December.”
I am so discouraged and disconcerted as I was looking progressive to seeing you all, I feel like I am letting everyone down, but it’s simply impossible for me to do the show in my current condition. We have thankfully prepared to open the Oxford New Theatre concert (Sat 14th December) for Bristol audience members to assign to, and we have managed to move the Glasgow date to Tues 3rd December, so I hope you will be able to see still me have A Fabulous Christmas.
“All my love, John x.” He updated fans to say he was on his route to the hospital to experience an MRI scan on his neck. He appended: “I’ll keep you all posted on my progress – Bless you all, and thanks for all your good wishes. JB”.
