The Marvel Cinematic Universe has multiple releases in their calendars within 2020 and 2022. But the kind of impact the blockbuster film Black Panther did, a sequel movie is inevitable. The cast and plot have made a tremendous effect since it brings torque to the culture of the Marvel cinemas.
Namor The Submariner was one of the Timely’s top three characters (the 1930s – 1940s) along with Captain America and the original Human Torch. Namor McKenzie is the fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. According to rumors, he will make his MCU debut as the villain of the Black Panther 2 movie. The plot will revolve around the attack in Wakanda by another ruler named Namor.
But who is the chosen one for this role?
Recent reports suggest Dwayne Johnson will bring this submarine character to life in Black Panther 2 and Henry Cavill, the Superman of the DC will be featured as US Agent aka Captain America in MCU. The former has already taken a meeting with Kavin Feige, which led to the first rumor of The Rock being cast in the upcoming MCU movies.
The circulating story speaks about Luke Evans being the Namor in Black Panther 2. The Beauty and the Beast star Luke Evans would be facing Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa in a new piece of fan art that imagines the future of MCU.
This notable hero from the Marvel canon who’s yet to appear in the MCU has also been rumored to be taken over by Keanu Reeves. The incredible artwork suggests the demand for Reeves in MCU as Namor. Other fan art has cast him as Wolverine instead, a role that actor has apparently wanted to play.
Don’t worry; we’ll get back with further details soon enough.
2021 is most likely the earliest we will see Black Panther 2. Almost exactly four years after the first Black Panther would give the series a nice symmetry. Wakanda forever!
