A recent source conveyed that Will Smith got off his blood pressure medications. He had been taking those medicines for over a decade.
In an episode of the Facebook Watch series “Red Table Talk,” the 50-year-old actor explained that he tried the 10-day fasting regimen. He did it to improve his health and relationship to food.
It is still unclear regarding Smith’s exact diet as it involves many things. It describes the liquids-only diet to limiting foods to certain times of day to abstaining from eating and drinking entirely.
After fasting for the first 4 days, Smith noticed uncanny changes in him. His blood pressure had lowered so significantly that he was able to stop relying on medications that he took for over a decade.
In the recent episode, Smith said-
“I had the epiphany that I don’t know anything about food. I couldn’t believe that I got to 50 years old without knowing you literally are what you eat.”
Well, if you see medically, fasting can lower blood pressure, but that is not the only indicator of heart health. A doctor explained-
“Blood pressure is a measure of how much force it takes to pump blood through the body. It’s related to the elasticity of your circulatory system stiffer vessels means your heart needs to work harder to pump blood.”
Anyway, it does not matter whatever one is age. If one is determined, they can do it. And the best example for that is Will Smith.
