Rapper Mac Miller died a year ago and the cause of his death was a drug overdose. His body was unresponsive in his Studio City home and later the authorities confirmed his death. However, The Federal Prosecutors gave charged a man in connection with Miller’s death. They have verified that it was an overdose of alcohol, cocaine and fentanyl. The investigating agency found it is suspicious and conducted multiple searches with a warrant. They were successful enough to recover a plastic bag with pills. They believe that the cause of death is snorting bogus painkillers supplied by a drug dealer.
Cameron James was made an accused and 42-pages complaint was filed against him contending that he supplied Miller with counterfeit oxycodone pills consisting of fentanyl.
Recently, another man was arrested by the investigating agency. Stephen Walter is charged for selling counterfeit oxycodone pills laced with fentanyl. The Prosecutors have found some texts between the drug paddlers and have discovered this chain. The chats contain various code words and petty transactions between the dealers. ‘Asking for 10 blues at a scheduled place and time’.
Though no one has officially been sentenced, the case is certainly having its own merits. The officials are not just stuck with this case, but it has come to their light that the bogus drugs are easily available the in-market and countering them would be their prima facie target.
