The Empire show actor Terrence Howard recently featured in an interview with Billy Bush. The interview took a turn when asked about Jussie Smollett, Howard got very emotional. The show Empire is in its finale season, and Howard is busy promoting the show without one of the main lead stars Jussie Smollett. The 37-year-old, Jussie Smollett, in January reported that two men outside his apartment in Chicago wearing “Make America Great Again” caps attacked him. Soon, the story turned out to be false, and Jussie was himself arrested in February for disorderly conduct over the staged attack.
The primary motive behind the staged attack was indicated to be Smollett’s salary dissatisfaction and the bump in publicity with it; after the incident came to light, Fox kicked him out of the show. Even though the actor was released later with dropped charges. There has been a federal investigation been launched as to why have been the charges dropped.
Even When all this drama took place, Howard still had his back for his Television Son as he posted a video on his Instagram, with Smollett having a little baby in his lap and caption “All your lil homies got you. We love the hell outta you.” As Jamal Lyon, the character played by Jussie, is not in the show anymore, Terrance still misses his son.
The 50-year-old actor broke down in the show and said, “Jussie has been the heart of the show. He’s been my son for six years, and I miss my son.” Soon The host bush followed up and asked,” He feels like that to you in real life?” to which he added, “Yes, he does, unfortunately for me.” However, After the promotion for the show ends, Howard is going to be retiring from acting.
He also talked about his plans post-retirement which includes an interest in Science and what he plans to in future and added: “I want to put my life towards utilizing the total brain potential that we have, and maybe help change society and help us grow and recognize we need to be conscious beings.”
