Demi Lovato expressed that it feels like a new woman when she traveled on a trip to Israel this week. This Tuesday, Demi, coming from Christian beliefs and Jewish roots, put out a post on the social media that how it feels to be baptized in the Jorden River.
“I am an American singer. I was raised Christian and have Jewish ancestors,” Demi captioned on Instagram.“Spirituality is so important to me…to be baptized in the Jordan river – the same place Jesus was baptized – I’ve never felt more renewed in my life. This trip has been so important for my well-being, my heart, and my soul. I’m grateful for the memories made and the opportunity to be able to fill the God-sized hole in my heart,” Demi further captioned as she shared more images of the trip.
She further said that when she was offered an opportunity to visit the places she would read about in the Bible while she was growing up. She said there is something mesmerizing about Israel. She said that she felt very connected to God.
Demi explained about her experiences she had when she visited the sacred place that included a visit to the Shalva National Center and Yad Vashem World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Israel.
As the reports came out earlier, Demi has been sober since October 2108. She had been undergoing treatment for sobriety and mental health issue. According to sources, she is involved in making a comeback with her new song very soon. After breaking up with Henry Levi, she is currently dating Mike Johnson.
