Pink’s Concerts Halted by Respiratory Infection: Sincere Apologies from the Artist

Pop sensation Pink has been forced to cancel additional tour dates due to a respiratory infection. The artist, known for hits like “Raise Your Glass” and “What About Us,” expressed her regrets to her fans via Instagram, apologizing for the postponement of her Vancouver shows.

In an online statement, Pink revealed, “I am deeply sorry to share that I have a respiratory infection, and my doctor has advised that I am unable to perform at the Vancouver shows on Friday and Saturday.” Live Nation, the tour organizer, is currently working on rescheduling these shows to accommodate disappointed fans.

Despite the setback, Pink expressed her eagerness to perform in Vancouver and promised a fantastic show for her fans. She concluded her message by sending her best wishes for everyone’s good health and sharing lots of love.

This is not the first time Pink has had to postpone tour dates recently. Just three days ago, she had to reschedule two shows in Washington due to “family medical issues.” At the time, she notified Tacoma ticket holders via an online post, saying, “I am so sorry to inform the Tacoma ticket holders that the two shows on October 17 and October 18 will be postponed.” As with the Vancouver shows, Live Nation is actively working on rescheduling these dates, and Pink conveyed her apologies for any inconvenience.

Pink’s tour, known as the Summer Carnival tour, commenced on June 7 in England and is in support of her ninth studio album, “Trustfall.” The tour is a massive undertaking, with three legs and a total of 65 shows scheduled, ultimately concluding in Australia in March 2024.

The singer previously had to postpone one show in Arlington, Texas, due to a sinus infection. Despite these challenges, she continued to launch the “Trustfall” Tour, featuring North American venues as part of the larger Summer Carnival tour.

In addition to her busy career, Pink also manages a family life with her husband, Carey Hart. The couple has two children, a daughter named Willow Sage and a son named Jameson.

Pink’s dedicated fan base is surely disappointed by these recent setbacks, but they can take comfort in the artist’s commitment to rescheduling and delivering outstanding performances when she is back on stage.
