Coldplay Confirms ‘Feels Like I’m Falling in Love’ Release Date: The ‘Moon Music’ Era Begins

-

As we previously reported on the top music variety website, Coldplay is on the verge of releasing new music. The video for their latest single was filmed earlier this week, and the announcement of the single couldn’t wait. Now we know that in just seven days, on Friday, June 21, we will be able to hear the first single from their new album. The track, ‘Feels Like I’m Falling in Love,’ will introduce their upcoming project titled ‘Moon Music.’

Fans have expressed their excitement for this highly anticipated song in the comments section of the announcement post, following the style used for the song’s title: “osqueremosmucho,” “parecequenosvaaencantar,” “yanosencanta,” “meestádandoalgo.”

The band has been dropping hints for the past week. We first heard a snippet of the song in an Instagram post. After announcing the video shoot, which we mentioned at the end of this text, fans suspected it wouldn’t be long before the full song was available. We can now confirm that ‘Feels Like I’m Falling in Love’ will be out in seven days, and it seems the cover will be the image seen on their social media: a turquoise background with a waning crescent moon.

The Song That Lit Up Athens

On Monday, June 10, the band announced on their social media that they were looking for people to participate in the filming of their new music video. Fans were invited to gather at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, an amphitheater located southwest of the Acropolis in Greece.

The video has already been filmed, and according to the ColdplayXtra account, the band played the new song, ‘Feels Like I’m Falling in Love,’ around seven or eight times with the fans present. The setting simulated a concert atmosphere, complete with fans wearing the iconic LED bracelets and sign language interpreters. Matching the vibe, Coldplay wore outfits fitting the theme, as seen in the video. Chris Martin hinted that the video would be released in about two weeks.

Through their social media accounts, the band shared how special the recording session was with a video: “When you finish recording but the magnificent audience keeps singing your new song.” The post shows the luminous elements mentioned and the band, humbled by their fans, who continued to sing the new song a cappella.

Fans left comments expressing their excitement for this new project: “Always thinking about including their fans, that’s why we love you,” “Spectacular Coldplay making their followers happy,” “I can’t wait to see the full video,” “I need to hear this song already.”
