Maisie Williams felt “Ashamed” when she played the character of Arya Stark, here’s why?

It has maybe some time since the finale episode of the hit TV Drama show “Game of Thrones” has aired, but still, the news come-up regularly overall social media platforms. Now we got a piece of news from our beloved actress Maisie Williams who portrayed the character of “Arya Stark.” From her Vogue’s interview, Maisie stated that she felt  “a bit ashamed” of her figure for a while. This was the cause of the length of time that went to hide the development of her body.

Maisie started filming the show when she was just 14 years old. A tomboy young girl character named Arya Stark, she gradually develops a sense of requirement of law and proper order in the King’s Landing and Roose Bolton and his family which was driven by the killing of his beloved father Ned Stark, his mother Catelyn Stark, her brother Robb Stark and his wife, Talisa Stark. The last episode of the show aired on April 3, 2019. Maisie was 22 years old when the show ended. She contributed for almost eight years of her life to the making of the show.

In the interview, Maisie said that “I had to have short hair and they’d constantly cover me in dirt and shade my nose so it looked really broad and I looked manly. They’d also put this strap across my chest to flatten any growth that had started, and that just felt horrible for six months of the year, and I felt kind of ashamed for a while,” she said.

“With this new phase of my style, it is nice to look more feminine and have a real waistline and just embrace the body that I have,” she concluded.
