The mamma mia! Star Amanda seyfried in her interview with MTV whereas promoting her film the Art of Racing in the Rain revealed that she turned down a role in super hero movie. The 33 year old actress was asked weather she would like to star in a super hero movie.
She replied “I turned down [a superhero movie] once and they haven’t called back since, and it was a big one.I don’t regret it because I didn’t want to be green for six months out of every year. [There’s] beautiful, beautiful stories they tell through superheroes, and my daughter’s now really obsessed with superheroes now, and part of me wishes I’d done it, but the other part of me is like ‘I had a life to live’ and I don’t think I would’ve been happy.”
She didn’t explicitly said that it was Gamora’s character from Guardians of the Galaxy yet her remark about green shading makes it obvious. Seyfried has zero regrets regarding this that she could be a part of greatest franchise around the globe.Further she added
“It’s so much more fulfilling to be in a scene with another human, doing human things, talking about real life and that’s what we did (The Art of Racing in the Rain).”
Amanda Seyfried would have had different career path but she accepted the role in The Art of Racing in the Rain refusing the most promising career.
